Concept art for an original character.
"I saw a man today, slicing the body of a lamb on a pile of carcasses. He said the others had all given nothing but ill omens, and he was desperate for something positive. You know only the periphery of the Flayed World. I have stared into that open wound, and seen the truth of this allegory."
As the Great Machine tears itself apart , the Haruspex keeps a fragile peace between the radical cults of the Flayed World. He is a lighthouse of purpose in a world of disorienting carnage, yet the cults do not know that his plans involve their ultimate destruction, for that is the cost of his vision.
